The FOPA is a civilian affiliate of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP). Our members are friends and families of law enforcement officers, responsible and respected business people, professional men and women, and citizens from all walks of life — people willing to devote a portion of their time and efforts toward assisting the various law enforcement agencies of our communities, states and nation.

This is to certify that I have made the above application and agree to abide by the Constitution and By-Laws of Hendricks County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 132, and should my membership be revoked, I agree to return to the Secretary the emblem and card furnished me by the Lodge.
  • Section 1. There shall be four classes of membership: Active, Associate, Honorary, and Auxiliary.
  • Section 2. Active membership shall be restricted to regularly appointed and full-time active law enforcement officers of The United States or political subdivision thereof.
  • Section IV. Associate members may be governed by their own by-laws which shall in no way conflict with local, state or national by-laws of this order.
    • A. Associate members shall not have any voice, vote or be eligible to participate in any secret work of this organization
    • B. The Associate membership drive chairman shall be responsible for the integrity of the drive. He shall also chair the investigating committee should the character of an Associate member be called into question.
      • 1. If an Active member should question the character of an Associate member, the Active member should bring this information to the attention of the lodge.
      • 2. The presiding officer shall appoint a committee of three (3) Active members, including the Associate membership drive chairman, to investigate the allegations and re1>ort their findings to the lodge at the next regular meeting.
      • 3. If the investigating committee's report is unfavorable the Associate membershi1> dues shall be returned to him/her and he/she is expelled from membership in this lodge.
    • C. The dues of the Associate members shall be determined during the October monthly meeting and shall not be less than five ($5.00) dollars per year.
